"Things At King's" is on vacation until September 13. The staff and management of this blog hope you will rejoin us at that time as we continue to ponder the mysteries of the universe.
Vacation my ass. Why, I saw Carten today down at Anthracite News buying a hot dog, an armload of Match 6 tickets and a pack of Phillies blunts. He had a Voice copy in his left hand but said something about, "that's already paid for."
Ok, your @ is at the Anthracite; mine is on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Well, actually I'm standing right now as there aren't any chairs at this kiosk.
Lovely day here, unusual for this season. They've had plenty of rain. Yesterday, I was in Sydney, synning. Tomorrow, a "sea day," as we leave here this afternoon and go around the Gaspe Peninsula, then up the St Lawrence River (compass south) and head for Quebec City.
Sydney is like WB, but without all the glitz and glitter.
C'mon Carten, enough with the "I'm on holiday and can't be bothered." Get ta posting. Only priests are pretentious enough to think the whole world stops when they do.
Writer and broadcaster for more decades than I'd care to admit (hint: We were still using 78rpm records).
I love cruising yearly on Holland America Line ships. It doesn't matter where; as long as it's HAL.
