Welcome to the blogosphere, Tom. Some people get off to a slow start and pick up speed, and some (like me) start a blog with the intention of posting every day, but 6 months later find it difficult to post more than once or twice a week.
I look forward to hearing all about that Mecca (or Vatican?) of culture that is Wilkes-Barre from one of its premier (or at least senior) members.
I should live that long to have had the chance or the gift to follow your hard to follow act. My fairly mundane and archaic lifestyle is limited to reading and having become bilingual, and a few short trips on occasions.
good job good blog!! you have made me remember some almost forgotten elements of my life, both in New England and life in Catholic school. IE my first time on a radio show,( for kids supposedly) I was 4, the broadcaster , Bob Bannon, saw he had a " Live One' and ran with it , it was weeks befor my mother could walk down the street without having to explain some of my tid bits of our family life as seen by a 4 yr old...she never really got over that. I had almost forgotten .
Writer and broadcaster for more decades than I'd care to admit (hint: We were still using 78rpm records).
I love cruising yearly on Holland America Line ships. It doesn't matter where; as long as it's HAL.

That was my first attempt to do anything with this blog. Guess it worked. Didn't think to write any comments.
